Yeah, you realize that the Pixel’s A/B partition layout means that updates install without a reboot right? There’s 2 system, radio, and boot partitions and the updater simply flashes to the currently inactive slot.
This isn’t new and was an advertised feature for the Pixel line. Once you reboot your phone it will swap the active partition slot and you’ll be running the update.
Tl;Dr Pixels update like ChromeOS does.
