This is awesome! The time is ripe for headphone jacks to die in the industrial countries! The removal of the headphone jack is one of the most important factors for the device’s stability. Also, it allows a better water/dust resistance. It allows more battery in the device, it allows easier implementation of an in-display fingerprint sensor.
And with the dongle you can convert to 3.5mm compatibility easily. Time for bluetooth earphones/headphones to be the new norm in industrial countries!
